Your privacy is important to us. We want you to feel comfortable using BTSHost services. Because we gather certain types of information about the users of BTSHost's services, we feel you should fully understand what information we gather and how we use that information. BTSHost employees are required to familiarize themselves with this privacy policy as a condition of their employment, and any employee violating the policy is subject to disciplinary action.

What Information Does BTSHost Gather?

When you register for a BTSHost account, BTSHost obtains contact information, such as your name, address, and phone number, as well as payment information, such as your credit card number. When you use BTSHost's service, our systems record information about your session, such as the dates and times of use, and the specific Internet address assigned to you. BTSHost also tracks requests you make for information on BTSHost's products and services, and responses you provide to BTSHost surveys. Finally, BTSHost keeps records of your payment history and communications you have with BTSHost's support team. Except in extraordinary circumstances (when we receive a court order, to protect the company's rights or property, or in emergencies where someone's safety is at risk), BTSHost does not keep track of what sites you visit when you are using the service.

What Does BTSHost Do With This Information?

BTSHost uses the information it gathers in order to provide you with the best online experience possible. As you might expect, contact information is used to contact you concerning your account and our company. Payment information is used to validate your identity and to bill you for the services and products you order. Information on your online sessions is used to allocate system resources and to ensure compliance with BTSHost's Terms and Conditions of Use. Information on your communications with BTSHost's support team is used to address the issues raised by your communications. In addition, BTSHost regularly sends out mailings regarding the operation of its service and other goods and services that it believes may be of interest to you. You may request that BTSHost not send you mailings relating to other goods and services at the URLs listed in this section or send an e-mail to privacy@btshost.net. BTSHost reserves the right, however, to send bulletins and other important information regarding the service at its discretion.

Does BTSHost Share Subscriber Information With Third Parties?

BTSHost will not share or disclose information regarding its subscribers except (i) when we receive legal process such as a court order; (ii) when reasonably necessary to protect the company's rights or property; or (iii) in emergencies where someone's safety is at risk.

You should be aware, however, that any information that you disclose in a public space such as a chat room, bulletin board, or personal Web site, is freely available to anyone else visiting that space. BTSHost cannot safeguard any personally identifiable information you disclose in these locations, nor can it ensure that information you voluntarily supply to third parties remains private. Please review the privacy policies of third party sites you frequent to ensure that your privacy preferences are respected.

How Can I Correct or Update the Information?

To request a copy of the contact BTSHost has on your account, send an e-mail request to privacy@btshost.net. You may correct that information as appropriate by returning a message to the same address. Please keep in mind that under BTSHost's Terms and Conditions of Use, subscribers are required to provide BTSHost with current contact and billing information. BTSHost may require a copy of a government issued form of identification before disclosing billing information or before making changes to the billing or contact information on an account.

What Happens to the Information if I Leave BTSHost?

If you ever leave BTSHost, BTSHost will normally delete your personally identifiable account information twelve months after the account is cancelled, unless we are under a legal obligation to retain it. We preserve account information for this short period of time in the event you wish to reactivate your account and retain your previous e-mail address. However, in the event of any accounting irregularities, BTSHost reserves the right to retain your contact and billing information as necessary to resolve the matter.

Changes to This Policy and Questions About Privacy

BTSHost reserves the right to make changes to this policy. Those changes will become effective 30 days after notice of them is posted here. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please send them via e-mail to privacy@btshost.net.

Specific Acceptable User Policy

USER AGREEMENT: BTSHost Technologies provides Domain Name Registration, Web site hosting and Web based application development. All services provided by BTSHost may be used for lawful purposes only. BTSHost reserves the right to refuse service and/or access to its servers to anyone. BTSHost reserves the right to suspend or cancel any client's access to any portion or all of BTSHost services, when BTSHost deems that the account has been used inappropriately.

WEB HOSTING: The client is responsible for programming and for uploading the Web site to our Web servers. BTSHost does not provide free Web site development, Consulting, Programming, or Debugging services. The client is responsible for keeping a complete and current copy of Web site files as backup on a remote system (not on BTSHost servers). BTSHost is not responsible for any lost files, information or data. BTSHost backup tapes are for backing up our system configurations and databases and are NOT for keeping backups of client Web sites. Should any data need to be recovered from BTSHost backup tapes, there will be a restoration charge, on an as-available basis. BTSHost does not guarantee to possess the most current copy of a client's Web site.

SUPPORT: Technical support is provided via email and chat only. Any personal phone or other direct support will be for an extra charge.The first contact with BTSHost is through email. The client agrees not to Spam our support staff and to follow standard Internet etiquette.

SYSTEM UPDATES: The client understands that system updates occur in real time and as queued batch processes. For example, account Passwords are currently updated as queued batch processes; therefore the update does not occur in the system instantaneously. BTSHost reserves the right to modify the processing times at any time without notice. If a client or BTSHost support personnel (when authorized by client) makes any modifications to a hosting account, the client is responsible for ensuring these updates have occurred in our system.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES: including but not limited to storing and/or distributing illegal copies of copyright software, hosting/maintaining inappropriate sites, violating trademarks and copyrights, violating National & International laws, selling and/or distributing illegal contraband.

INTERNET ABUSE: including but not limited to: spamming - mass unsolicited emailing, posting obscene or inflammatory messages, nudity, threatening other Internet users, and spamming our support staff. Any adult content will be put off the web server as and when or system notices and the client's account will be terminated without any refunds.

SYSTEMS ABUSE: including but not limited to using excessive CPU resources, using excessive disk space, attempting to gain access to root and other clients' accounts (hacking), installing continuously running programs, and reselling CGI scripts.

BTSHost does not censor our customers' Web sites, although our policy strictly prohibits adult sites. The determination of what is adult content & prohibited, shall be made solely by BTSHost. Should a policy violation occur, BTSHost reserves the right to terminate the account without notice and the client will be held responsible for any damages to BTSHost's business, system, servers, connectivity, reputation, service, network, operations or equipment resulting from its actions including, but not limited to, government actions, vandalism, retaliation and claims of libel, unfair competition, infringement of patent, copyright, trademark, service mark, or other intellectual property right, violation of privacy, or other tort

DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION: · Domain Name registration is on a First-come-first-serve basis. BTSHost will not be responsible for the availability of the Domain Name in the 3-4 days that it can take to register a Domain Name. In between you register a domain name through BTSHost website & by the time payment is received from you, it might happen that during this period the domain name is booked by some other individual or organization. In such a case BTSHost Technologies would not be responsible. The payment to this effect would be refunded in case the client does not want to book another domain name.

PAYMENT POLICY: All services are provided on a prepayment basis. BTSHost accepts Local Check, Banker’s Check, Debit Cards, Demand Draft, & Cash. All monetary transactions will occur in National Currency only. Though BTSHost can alter its payment methods at any point in time.

SERVER ABUSE :Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server, or customer, of BTSHost is strictly prohibited.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF OTHER PEOPLE'S ACCOUNTS OR COMPUTERS: BTSHost will strongly react to any use or attempted use of an Internet account or computer without the owner's authorization. Such attempts include "internet scamming" (tricking other people into releasing their passwords), password robbery, security hole scanning etc.

Any unauthorized use of accounts or computers by a BTSHost customer, whether or not the attacked account or computer belongs to BTSHost, will result in action against the attacker. Possible actions include warnings, account suspension or cancellation, and civil or criminal legal action, depending on the seriousness of the attack.
